Douglas M. Pine has been practicing law since 1996 and has represented thousands of adopting parents.  Mr. Pine is licensed to practice law in New Jersey and New York.

Mr. Pine is a regular guest speaker for  Foster and Adoptive Family Services in New Jersey, is a Trustee on the Board of Hudson County CASA and has been a volunteer attorney for the Essex County Section of the National Council of Jewish Women.  Mr. Pine has assisted in the legislative process to revise the New Jersey Domestic Violence law to provide protection to adoptive families from domestic violence committed by biological parents.

Mr. Pine handles all types of adoptions including co-parent adoptions, step-parent adoptions,  New Jersey foster care adoptions, New York foster care adoptions,  re-adoptions of children adopted outside of the United States and adult adoptions.  Mr. Pine's clients include married couples, single men and women, and  same-sex couples.

Mr. Pine earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from  Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, New Jersey and a Juris Doctorate from  Yeshiva University, Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York City.

Douglas Pine lives in Union County, New Jersey with his wife and two children.
